Emma Broder

Emma Broder is a teacher, writer, and editor.  A graduate of the University of Chicago, she was Editor-in-Chief of the university’s student newspaper, The Chicago Maroon, where she managed a staff of over 100.  She also wrote for and edited Grey City, the Maroon’s long-form magazine. 

 

Emma has held internships at Yale University Press, Teachers & Writers Collaborative, and Breakthrough Collaborative, a nonprofit that provides academic opportunities to underserved students.  At Breakthrough, she developed curriculum for Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and facilitated a student creative writing group.
